FASHIONISTA
Written By Eric Eldredge

Designer dress, designer hair
Designer looks, designer flair
You’re so conceited, you play the field
Your true emotions are all concealed
A herd mentality to cloud your eyes
Your blatant blindness is no surprise
You proudly move down the city streets
And never grasping you’re incomplete

Try something other than believing
That without rules within
Or your world will come caving in

You’ve got your standards, you must insist
Your sense of tolerance does not exist
Demand surroundings to suit you best
There’s no accounting for all the rest
Since there is nothing you regard
To look beyond it is way too hard
Without this shell with which you surround
There won’t be much left to be found

Try something other than believing
That without rules within
Or your world will come caving in

When the illusion dissipates
What will be left behind?
